Teaching children about diversity one thing we must understand is that
children will always be baffled with tons of questions be prepared for discussions. Be direct with your answers. As parents
it is important to be attentive and obeservant. To teach children about diversity you must be open, introduce cultures
in your lives through hands on acivities.
Racism is still occuring in our world today. Teaching our children
about anti-racism is imperative. There are many ways we can teach our children about anti-racism.
Teaching children about nonviolence, have children
draw a picture of how they would picture a peaceful world. And ask the children to give suggestions on how they can
make their dream become reality in addition have them keep a journal.
Teaching children about community building skills, teach children to become partners
in their communities. Get to know each other in your community, lend a helping hand. Spend time supervised time
with the elderly.
Teaching Children about environmental protection teaching children the importance of
recycling and taking care of the environment we live in. Have age groups compete with each other recycling certain items.
